GV60 Built-in Cam Wireless Software Update

Dear GV60 drivers.


Wireless software updates will be provided as follows to make the built-in cam function more convenient.

Update start and finish times may vary by vehicle.

■ Applicable vehicle : GV60

■ Update highlight

[ Improved built-in cam usability and GUI ] (Vehicles with built-in cam options)


1. You can easily download the built-in cam video from the new MY GENESIS app. Connect your phone to the built-in cam using a Wi-Fi or USB cable.

 



2. If an impact is detected while parking, you can receive all of the ‘event notifications while parking’ regardless of the settings. If you set the sensitivity of event detection to be high while parking, you cannot receive notifications, which has improved your inconvenience.




※ Offline updating in a Hi-Tech Center or Blue Hands may incur additional charges.

※ Upgrades from previous versions of S/W can be done together to upgrade the latest version of S/W normally.


[Notes on over-the-air (OTA) update]


1. If the battery has been removed and then attached, you can update the vehicle after turning off the ignition, disconnecting the power from the additionally installed dash cam, etc., and parking for more than 4 hours.

2. If any product is connected to the vehicle OBD terminal, the update function will not work due to interference in the vehicle internal communication.


After disconnecting the device from the vehicle OBD terminal, turn on the engine and wait for at least 5 minutes, then turn off the engine.

(Do not connect any device to the OBD terminal during the wireless update.)
